Common questions
- Is chat really free?
- Yes. Unlimited chat with every Headrum coach (mixing, mastering, theory, sound design, arrangement) is free at every tier — Free, Starter, Pro, and Bundle. Only generation costs credits.
- What do credits pay for?
- Credits are spent when you export a generation: 2–3 credits per MIDI file, 3–5 credits per Serum preset, and 1 credit per Suno prompt. You see the cost before confirming each export.
- What happens if I run out of credits?
- Chat keeps working at full speed. You can upgrade to a higher plan — Starter, Pro, or Bundle — at any time, and the new credit allocation is available immediately.
- Can I cancel at any time?
- Yes. Cancel from the Settings page at any point. You keep paid-plan access until the end of the current billing period, then drop to Free automatically.
- Can I switch between plans?
- Yes — switch between Starter, Pro, and Bundle at any time from Settings. Upgrades prorate immediately; downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
- Do you train AI models on my chats?
- No. Your chats stay in your session history and your retrieval context only. They are not used as training data for any model provider.
- What DAWs do the generators target?
- MIDI exports are standard .mid files and load directly into Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro, Cubase, Studio One, Bitwig, and Reaper. Serum exports are .fxp presets and load directly into Xfer Serum. Suno prompts are text and paste into Suno.
- Does Headrum support Turkish?
- Yes. The UI, coach prompts, and generated outputs are fully available in both English and Turkish.
- Which AI powers the coaches?
- Coach responses are produced by Anthropic Claude models, with retrieval-augmented generation drawing on a domain-specific knowledge base per module.
- How do I get support?
- Reply from your account or reach us at the contact link in the footer. Most issues are resolved within one business day.
